Attempt Burglary - Sultan Street

Hi Resident

On Wednesday 1st October at 14:24hrs a male has been on Sultan St, Accrington trying door handles. No access was gained as door was locked.  The males is described as in his 20's, wearing a hi-vis jacket and white trousers;  like decorators trousers with black splats on them.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify suspect and officers have already received good cctv, but if you have anything further you feel can assist with the investigation then please respond to this message in the first instance. 

Please remain vigilant and ensure doors are locked.  If you see anyone acting suspicious then please ring to report on 101.  If you witness a crime in progress then please ring on 999.
